Hi! So you may be wondering who I am, or maybe just want to know a little bit about me!

My name is Ashly (yes without an 'E') and I started my photography journey at about the age of 13 with a little point and shoot kodak in Houston, Texas. Ever since I could talk I've been singing and you may be thinking, "what does that have to do with photography?", well, music is what lead me to what I'm doing today. I have always wanted to be involved in the music industry and photography has played a huge part in me being able to do just that. Aside from just creating live show content, I create portraits, lifestyle photos, product photos, conceptual photos, and so on.
Photography has come to be something I am extremely passionate about and strive to learn more about each and everyday, as well as something I want to teach and inspire people with;

I love telling stories with my photos and capturing the emotions of my subjects. I'm always up for new challenges and ideas and constantly wanting to push my limits and boundaries further and further with what
I can do.
A few other little things about me that you may not know are, my natural hair color is green, I have a corgi, I’m a huge Swifite, and I collect too many things.

here are some frequently asked questions and information on booking, services, and shoots!

  • honestly, anything!
    I have experience in just about any area of photography you could think of.
    if it’s not listed here, I can likely do it and have done it!


    some examples include:
    - portraits: family, pets, babies/newborns, kids, etc.
    - events: parties, birthdays, company socials/events/holiday parties, galas, showers, memorials, reunions, etc.
    - engagements, weddings, and elopements
    - shows & concerts: festivals, full show, sets, behind the scenes, pre show photos, and even tour
    - headshots: on location or simple color backdrop
    - milestones: smash cake, sweet 16, quinceañeras, anniversaries, pregnancy announcements, maternity, graduation, senior portraits
    - product: apparel, consumer products, food, jewelry, bags, shoes, cosmetics, etc.

  • my basic rate starts at $500 (excluding shows)

    includes:
    - up to 1.5 shoot
    - on location of your choice
    (milage will be discussed if more than 15 miles outside of the valley)
    - up to 20 edited AND retouched selects of your choice

  • show rates start at $350 for up to a 30 minute set.

    45 minutes - 1.5 hours starts at $500

    all packages include:
    - all good/useable photos from the set color graded and edited/adjusted lighting.
    - pre show photos if time allows
    - 24-48 hour turn around time, but typically night of

  • For any of the following packages, we will have 1-2 virtual or in person meetings where we will go over the photo package(s), go over expectations, map out your shoot/day, and even go through photo inspiration! Please put photo inspo together prior to first meeting if you only intend to meet once.

    Engagement:‍ ‍
    - start at $500
    - up to 35 edited & basic retouched selects
    - high res. and delivered via dropbox

    Elopement:
    - $2,000 flat rate for up to 5 hours
    you will receive every good/useable photo edited and with basic retouching, high res, delivered via dropbox

    rate excludes any travel outside of LA county

    Weddings:

    half day (up to 4 hours):
    - $1,200
    this can include getting ready & ceremony or ceremony and reception
    - detail shots of dress, rings, anything happening in the “getting ready” rooms, decor, cake, food, etc.
    - first looks
    - all ceremony shots from first entrances to the I do’s
    - pre ceremony or pre reception portraits of the couple + family & wedding party
    - reception photos: these will be more candid, but never fear, cake cutting and all the fun dancing photos of your wacky uncle will be captured!

    full day (up to 8 hours):
    - $2,500
    this includes wedding day from start to finish
    - getting ready photos
    - detail shots of dress, rings, anything happening in the “getting ready” rooms, decor, cake, food, etc.
    - first looks (with couple + family)
    - pre-ceremony photos with wedding party + family
    - all ceremony shots from first entrances to the I do’s
    - pre reception portraits with the couple
    - reception photos: these will be more candid, but never fear, cake cutting and all the fun dancing photos of your wacky uncle will be captured!

    ALL photo packages will be a 3 week delivery period with sneak peeks delivered within 48 hours of the event.

    additional hours:
    rates for additional hours can be discussed based on needs, but typically are about $100 additionally per hour

  • Red Carpets:
    - $500 for up to 3 hours
    full coverage of talent (2-5 deliverables per person), high res photos delivered via dropbox
    - $1,000 for up to 6 hours
    full coverage of talent (2-5 deliverables per person), high res photos delivered via dropbox

    -if video coverage/corresponding is needed, it is an additional $50/hr
    (i.e. 3 hour event with photo + video = $650)

    all red carpet coverage will have a 12-24 hour turn around if editing is needed.
    immediate turn around (at event conclusion) if no editing is needed.

    Events:
    - $1,200 half day (up to 4 hours)
    - $2,000 full day (up to 8 hours)
    - all good/useable photos will be delivered, and will include everything from details, decor, posed photos of guests, and candids.
    - photos will be color graded and lighting edited.
    - high res photos will be delivered via dropbox 24-48 hours post event.

  • I’m not a model/am not regularly in front of the camera, will you help me pose?
    absolutely! we can even come up with a moodboard before the shoot and plan out poses you might want to try.

    should I make an moodboard, bring inspo, or pinterest board?
    I’m never opposed to this and might even make one myself to help with poses, angles, and looks!

    how far in advance should I book?
    for portrait shoots of any kind: minimum 2 weeks if possible.sometimes life happens and we need things last minute, and I will always do my best to accommodate and find a shoot day/time that works for both of us!

    for events, shows, elopements, & weddings: as soon as possible! if possible, at minimum of 2 weeks, but preferably more in advance.

    do I need to put down a deposit?
    yes!

    for portrait sessions of any kind:
    a non-refundable retainer of 25% is required to secure your date. The remaining balance is due day of the shoot.

    for events & weddings: a non-refundable retainer of 40% is required to secure your date. The remaining balance is due day of the event, unless contract states net 30 (for companies)

    can I add more time or deliverables to my session/event?
    of course! it is an additional cost, but we can discuss custom photo packages per your needs.

    do you have locations of hair/make-up artists recommendations?
    yes! I am happy to send you a list of locations, peerspaces, and HMUA suggestions when booking.

    should I arrive hair/make-up ready?
    preferably, yes. if you want any of these things donewithinthe time you have me booked for, it will still count toward your allotted time with me.
    of course touch ups throughout the shoot are always fine & I will have leniency with that.

    do I own the full rights to my photos?
    you may use your photos however you like for non-transactional/commercial purposes.
    they are yours to post, use for promotional items (tour posters, wedding invites, headshots, etc.), portfolios, event advertisements of any kinds.

    if you plan to make merch or intend to sell any images for any purpose, licensing fees or a rights buy out will be required.

    do you archive images if I lose them?
    images will be kept up to 2 months post shoot (from the day you receive all final images), this means you have that time to purchase more selects, and download all final images. After 2 months, the folder will be cleared from the dropbox + hard drive, as space will need to be made available for other clients.
